So this is a new year and we are changing the way we do Print Competition. We should probably be calling it Image Competition actually. We have decided to go "printless" for the year (with the exception of Pre-State in January 2011).

 

Here are the basic new rules:

Instead of prints bring in your digital files.

Images must be presented in the same way you would a competition print.

Cropped to an 8x10 at 300dpi.

(Master Photographers Only: if you wish to have a unique crop please crop image proportionately and put on a black canvas background)

All images should be matted as if it were to be printed.

All images should be color corrected.

All images should be labeled with a title and category.

 

Only two images are allowed for competition and two additional images for critique only. (4 total)

Please submit on USB Drive or CD.

 

The Board has made these changes in hopes of getting more participation. The idea behind print competition is to learn to become better photographers and that is best achieved by sharing your images and having qualified individuals discuss them. Please submit many and often.
